…which is a bit out of the ordinary seeing as Ann (Nur Ain Osman) is a Muslim. The way she practices her faith isn’t that big a deal in Sabah where she lives or, say, Kuala Lumpur, but it’s not really kosher in other parts of Malaysia and the surrounding region. She doesn’t wear headscarves, does photo shoots and wears a sports bra in her fights, all things that could make life difficult for her in the wrong place with the wrong people. But, as Ann says, “I have my own way”. “I don’t eat pork. I pray. I don’t cover up and stuff. People judge me for that. I’m like whatever. I know what I’m doing. I still think of God. It’s not like I don’t have a belief. It’s my lifestyle.”

Heh, I would imagine that many Muslims would take great offense to referring to a Muslim as being any form of “kosher” (as in “not really kosher”), since “kosher” is a Jewish/Hebrew term.
I’m not really into Malaysians, but she is pretty cute. She appears to be of Chinese heritage, to my untrained-yet-not-unfamiliar eye (I can generally tell Chinese from Japanese from Korean from other ethnicities), especially in pics 1, 2, and 12.
