Sonoya Mizuno

I am a big fan of sci-fi films, especially when they’re done well, and Alex Garland’s Ex Machina was an absolute pleasure to watch, made even better by the inclusion of the gorgeous Sonoya Mizuno.

Sonoya was born in Tokyo and grew up in England where she studied ballet, graduating from the Royal Ballet School and performing with several major dance groups, before moving into modelling and making a foray into acting.

Ex Machina is her first role in a major film, and while she is the supporting actress, there are really only four characters in the film. I won’t ruin it by giving away the plot, but suggest you should check it out and watch for the dance scene, which was pretty awesome. She has other works in the pipeline including Jazzy, due for release later this year—I certainly look forward to it. You can read more about Sonoya in an interview with the Scotland Herald.

    Wow! I’ve always loved the lean, fit, petite bodies of ballerinas, and this girl combines it with a gorgeous Eurasian face and a seductive sexiness. A visit to the Doc and she’d be perfect. :)

    Yeah Doc she is exquisite, the photos really don’t do her justice. Her role in the film is a non speaking role but she’s so damn sexy every time she’s on screen.

    Personally, I think she looks great in the photos, although the screen shots from the movie are admittedly the weakest ones.

    I’ve watched the movie twice and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s received generally positive reviews from the critics (if that sort of thing means anything to you). If you’re expecting a film concerning artificial intelligence to “thrill” you, like some Michael Bay extravaganza, then you’re probably going to be disappointed. It’s more a psychological drama than anything else.

    I don’t mind at all that Ms. Mizuno graces you with her presence, Doc. But promise me you’ll keep your scalpel to yourself – I like her figure just the way it is. Sometimes, “less is more”. :-)

    She has mesmerizing face and a tight lean body. Very much my type and I hope she never see a doctor for unnecessary enhancement/enlargement.

    I love well done sci-fi movies too, and all the more so with sexy Asian women in them. Ex Machina is available at Redbox, so looks like I’ll be renting this one soon.
