Akira Lane - Bondage Fan Group
Today I discovered and joined a new Akira Lane Yahoo group dedicated exclusively to bondage photos of Akira. Fans of Akira know she is a versatile model and that bondage is not her main focus. But her bondage photosets are well loved by many. I purposely chose a tame cover image as I'm aware not everyone likes these kinds of poses. See the discussion in Badboy's previous blog on Akira.
For me, I like seeing bondage images of sexy models as long as the model is doing it of her own free will. I would never condone any women being forced into being tied up or anything else against her will. That may sound like I'm talking out of both sides of my mouth. But for me, it's all about fantasy and many women like to play the submissive or helpless role during sex. Not all women of course, but some. I don't expect everyone will like these pictures, but that's OK. Variety is what makes the world interesting!
Akira did not start the new bondage group. It was started by a fan and I'm assuming Akira is OK with it because, in her Main Group, she approved a message announcing it. So far, she has made no official comment regarding the new group. Maybe she's just tied up at the moment? We love you Akira!

OK people.....discussion time. Do you like seeing Asian models in bondage poses and why?
I don't. Not my thing. I think some of the rope tying methods are intricately interesting but I dont enjoy seeing women restrained or in bondage.

I certainly don't - I just don't understand the eroticism of sado-masochism, however consenting it may be. I feel it takes us to the sort of mindset where women are considered to be men's sexual slaves, which I am very uncomfortable with.
I like some bondage as long as it is done tastefully. I really do like the stuff that Akira Lane has done. I like the rope restraints, like most of the bondage stuff that comes from Japan. I not into leather suits though those are real ugly. But, everyone has their own taste.
I think leather and chains can be sexy but I'm not into actual bondage. To me, it's more interesting if the woman is really into you and gets all touchy feely...bondage doesn't allow that. :P

What, am I the only guy online who enjoys pictures of women in bondage? Well, the internet leads me to believe I'm not the *only* guy, but I'm in the minority, especially here.
Why do I like it? That's a more difficult question to answer. I'll have to give it some thought, to attempt to put my feelings in to words. A difficult task on most topics, but particularly this one. I'm not into everything- ballgags, no, but chains and handcuffs and rope, yes. I do enjoy something where- if it was an actual situation, rather than a photo- there would be interaction. To me, it's not much different than many other games people play in the bedroom.
I don't like bondage. I perfer to immobilize my women with my large hands.

I only got into bondage accidentally. I always use to see the old samurai movies where they tie up the women etc hence the art of shibari. I wanted to try it so I did.
The photographer was in awe when he saw that I could tough my elbows in the back. Apparently two out of 10 models have that flexibility in the bondage world. I'm one of them plus having no piercing, tatoos and being the "girl next door" look in the fetish world helps as well.
It took me a while about the gag ball and I am still not used to it.

Some of you may not know this, but I do bondage work sometimes. Actually, a lot of it is fake. But I only did the real thing. I don't think any was published, as it was only for private things. I kind of like it, to be honest, and I do not have that big of a problem eing a part of it. Although, once, it went really far and it hurt pretty bad. Hurt and felt good at the same time.
Oh, I forgot. You will never see any of it because it was never published. And that last one, where it went far, was more fake than not. It was that there was a huge dildo, and that was wat hurt. So, don't be alarmed or confused.

Of the Japanese women I know who truly enjoy it, they've told me it's because while tied up they can do all manner of naughty things and not feel responsible. Bondage = freedom. They were "made" to do perverse things, even though they initially consented to the ropes.
I'm surprised at the squeamishness that I read from the guys here regarding bondage.
I'm very pro women's empowerment in all areas but I don't see it conflicting with my love of asian woman in bondage. Maybe it's the Japanese esthetic but bondage and SM is just see as another aspect of sexuality here. It's evident in many Mangas and Amines, even on public TV. In Japan it's an open and accepted area for discussion for lovers and friends, in fact when my fiancee and I started dating she asked if I was S or M? She also took a great interest in the type of porn I liked and want to see it. She wasn't upset or disturbed by it, even the "hardcore" bondage.
What is it about bondage that bothers the connoisseurs of asian feminine pulchritude here at AS?
Bondage doesn't bother me, but doesn't interest me. But I'm not into the japanese thing (yet). I could change my mind, who knows.
