I just obtained some of the photosets Ran did for BLT, partaking of some of that adult cosplay we all love so much. What an amazingly attractive woman she is... she fits the onee-sama persona to a T.
While there are others with better looks and/or better bodies, I find Ran extremely SEXY -- the total package. Not enough hardcore pics and videos, though.

There is much I thoroughly enjoy about J-porn, but one of the things I don't appreciate too much is the ageism. Most of the market is so fixated on 19-year-olds or those who look it. Anyone over 25 is considered old, and there's even a special sub-genre for it. Ran even refers to it, saying her rise as a star has been slow because she doesn't look "Loli" (as in Lolita) enough.
She definately does it for me. One of my all-time favorite AV stars of any nation.

I don't watch much J-poon, but I do watch whatever Ran is in. She's my favorite too. I don't know how you can be considered old at 25 and I don't see what's so hot about the lolita look. I rather see someone who looks like a woman and not a teenager. But then again the Japanese do alot of things that I will never understand such as looking at photobooks of 9 to 12 year olds in bikinis.
