I always love seeing people like Maya who embrace the Nike motto, and just do it! Its such a beautiful philosophy. Everyone wonders if they could be so strong in the same situation, but Maya shows that internal fortitude is not only inspiring, but sexy.

It seems that the funding body needs to be looked at. Thankfully Australia seems to fund the paralympians pretty well (from an outside perception). I'm full of admiration for people that go to these lengths to follow their dreams.
