Ogamdo Poster Model

I've never featured an unidentified model here before but the production company for the soon-to-be-released mainstream Korean movie Ogamdo will only state that the model on the movie's poster is an anonymous body model and not one of the actresses who appears in the film.
The poster's tagline reads, “Look, graze, feel…a story about more than eroticism,” and it's caused quite a buzz since its unveiling.

I considered the unknown model for the poster could be ero actress Oahm Da-hye, who was the body model on the poster for the 2007 Korean movie, Cadaver (featured here) but dismissed that since Da-hye is a big name in the Korean adult industry and would most likely not model anonymously.

After searching through Korean cyberspace and coming up with nothing, I spoke with a couple of contacts and learned of some reasonable speculation that the mystery model may be lesser-known ero actress Cha Rin, whom yours truly met a few years ago after a stage performance in Seoul.

Ogamdo is actually composed of five vignettes, each by a different director. Even though two of the actresses who appear in the film, Uhm Jung-hwa and Kim Min-sun (pictured below), have done some brief topless scenes in previous films, perhaps they were too shy or weren't considered to have the assets (pun intended) needed to grace the poster.

Cha Soo-yeon, the actress who was IDed here, is also in the film, which is due out in Korean theaters in July, but probably won't be available internationally on DVD until next year. The ladies in the cast will make this one worth owning. Just wish I was sure of who the owner of that body on the poster is.

I'm considerably not fond of the second girl. But Uhm Jung-hwa is quite pretty. Surprisingly, she is much older as well.

Judging from these photos, I'd have to agree with Travis. "Not feeling" Cha Rin either.

I can see why the poster would create a stir, I remember years ago they put up a billboard of Elle Mcpherson on Johnston st in Melbourne and people kept crashing their cars.

Yes Travis, Uhm Jung-hwa will be 40 in August and her alone makes this film worth seeing. She's also a great singer. I've been to a couple of her concerts and she gave great performences. There was one time I remember where the front of her pants kept coming unfastened during a number and she ad-libbed through it very well.

Kim Min-Sun doesn't impress me much, but the other two are pretty good, especially Uhm Jung-hwa.

@taipan: if you go to Sunnybank regularly, you almost certainly would have seen me, unless you only go there before midday (I'm very rarely out and about in the morning!). If you see a chubby blonde white guy and you wonder "what's a guy like him doing with a hot Asian babe like that?", that's probably me. ;-)

Being very careful not to breach our psoting guidelines, let me just say that I can see why Cha Rin is a body double. Butt that is certainly a very hot pose (pun intended).

To get back to CEC's original question, I suspect the owner of the body in the poster is Photoshop more than anything else. ;-)

@ Wingsfan: Cha Rin's front is even more impressive. She was completely nude in the play I saw her in and she's got something unique goin' on up there. I wasn't the only one there who noticed it, either.

@ Doc: Yes, I think her butt was made to look a little rounder in the photo.

First photo is quite impressive, also. And this kind of publicity is great for any movie.

I was thinking a Photoshopped butt also and possibility a lengthening of the body. That's not to say that there aren't women around with a figure of those proportions, but they're few and far between and even less likely to be Asian.

@Doc, as we head into cooler temperatures, I must admit I'm going to miss the abundance of pretty, young Asian women parading around in denim shorts that has been the fashion of late in Brisbane. They certainly do wear them well and their slim figures are generally more suited to them than Caucasian women.

As for possibly having seen you wandering around Sunnybank, as you know there are a quite a few mixed couples shopping together on a Saturday. I used to notice this one couple, the guy was obviously not a Windows fan and would often wear a Unix tee-shirt. His female companion would be selecting some asian vegetables from the Formosa store. She would attract quite a lot of attention from fellow shoppers because of her obvious assets ie. a rather large pair of implants. I'm wondering whether she might be Sachiko and if so, then her companion would be... ;-)

As no one else in Sunnybank has assets like Sachiko's, I'm sure that was her - hence me, although it would actually have been a Mac tee-shirt that I was wearing. :-) I do find the reactions she gets from people very amusing!

And I'm going to miss this year's denim shorts as well - my accountant's been wearing them this year, and boy does she look hot in them. ;-)

Daznlover, divorce only happened in court. Furthermore, it depends to Doc, how he manages between his wife and his accountant. Eventhough, we do not mix women with money, probably our wifes can be jealous because our accountant are hotter. Otherwise, we will never hire our accoutants, isn't it?
