I think that it sounds as if Teddy is a girl, as most men wouldn't sign off using "with love". It sounds as is Stripes has the experience, so assuming Teddy is female perhaps she could take $10,000 over to his place and get his assistance.

I worked on the lighting for a couple of porn shoots in Aus'. Actually, there is nothing sexy about the shoot itself. There is great pressure on the talent to perform. You can feel it in the room. The director might stop and start the scene again and again if they don't like what they see. There are about 10 people there, maybe more. They are all waiting for the actor to get it right so that they can go home for the day. I think our man Teddy would be disappointed with the whole thing.

Teddy: here's how you break into the field: you have the choice of either bringing in a smoking hot new female star into the field with you, thus making you a package contract deal. Judging from your level of brains, common sense, and worldliness, that option is highly unlikely. The best road for you (the Hershey highway as it were) is to prove yourself in the realm of gay porn. Make about 500 vids, establish yourself as the superstud you are, and you will have the credibility you will need to make it in the straight porn world. They will not be able to deny your prodigious talents and powers.

Well, I didn't think Robin's initial posting of this was funny (yes I did notice the whink, but I thought it was just silly and off-topic), but I do have to admit - some of the responses have been quite amusing!

This is silly but I'll give a serious answer. If you ain't fluent in Japanese then forget it. If Teddy is a chick, then be a slut and take it in the arse and or go the fluffer route and you can eventually make it :-P

If Teddy is a dude and a foreigner, then you have a snowball's chance in hell in making it. If you are shy, can't speak Japanese, or get a stiffy on command with a bunch of people looking at you impatiently so they can shoot the scene and go home, then forget it. Also, guys in JAV don't make that much money and do alot of grueling work. So unless you go there and get a second job, you won't make enough yen to sustain a living since the cost of living is high in Japan.

My advise is to either win the lottery and make your own porn, start out in gay porn doing things I don't even want to know about, or find an ad for a group sex shoot where like 100+ dudes is needed and break in that way.

For the record, the reason Teddy has signed off "with love" is because he no doubt thinks he is talking to the Asian girls featured on AS - this is a common factor with these sorts of idiots as well. Teddy is most certainly a (very stupid) guy.
